i understand your logic, but let the guy eat his cake. i equate this nagging to the people who get their burning crosses all ready for a riot when they hear someone has added some bits of non-functional cf to their car. go after the dick with the whitened up kkk-mobile in shanghai. that's true blasphemy.

This is pretty simple. You wanted your car to look faster. So you made some changes that did that, but you actually made the car slower. And you seem fine with that. OK, have fun, but that's the definition of poser. Sorry, just calling a spade a spade.

If you didn't want feedback perhaps you shouldn't have asked, and you can take comfort that I have the minority opinion here so you're in good company.

Be sure to remember this Walter when you are setting up your new E46 M, and so help you if you decide not to run a square setup, and lightweight monoblocks and I will build a pastrana style ramp and drive right through your bedroom lol.

Scrub Radius

Scrub Radius is the distance between the extended centerline of the steering axis and the centerline of the tire where the tread contacts the road. This distance must be exactly the same from side to side or the vehicle will pull strongly.

If the steering centerline is inboard of the tire centerline, the scrub radius is positive. If the steering centerline is outboard of the tire centerline, the scrub radius is negative.

Rear-wheel drive cars and trucks generally have a positive scrub radius while FWD cars usually have zero or a negative scrub radius because they have a higher Steering Axis Inclination (SAI), angle.

Using different wheels other than stock can alter the scrub radius.

Here is a link for more information, as Scrub Radius alone is NOT the exacting measure for proper setup of your suspension as other measurements of your steering axis and positioning are needed if one were to critique what should and shouldn't be done.....

http://www.anewtoronto.com/wheel%20alignment.html

NOTE: Pay Attention to the two sub-categories for Steering Axis Inclination and Included Angle as these play a signifigant role in what your scrub radius will effectively be, and what is considered a positive or negative alteration of your suspension setup, for the rest of us "poser's"

In "simple" terms it looks like from the pictures, if you slightly lower your car then you are going to want to space out the wheels to maintain the positive scrub radius?

Is that too simplified

Yes, before asked I will say that with a 12mm spacer in front it does rub when full lock to left, not as bad to right. It does not rub at all in rear, unless you really motor over whoops, which is not my driving style. Hope you guys like it

looks great. what size bolts did you use?

They were studs not bolts. I really don't recall the size
