New window tint...

I miss having tinted windows, but not sure if I can pull it off in a convertible. Anyone have their ride tinted? I suppose, as long as you don't drive top-down with the windows up, it should look ok, no?

Good question. I'm planning on getting mine tinted when my car gets here. It should help a bit w/ keeping the inside cool during the rather hot summers we have here. I hadn't really thought about looks w/ top down/windows up, but I don't really see why it would be a problem.

I had my Z4 Tinted and it looked the biz.

Just don't go too dark and it'll be just fine.

35 for the sides, 20 for the backs:

It makes the depth difference between the side and back windows more pronounced. Other than that I'm happier with tints

Agreed. I'll always tint all my cars, especially living in CA. Protects the interior from sun damage/fade, keeps temps down when parked outside in the summer and gives you a little more privacy inside.

Ok, it's settled. Now I just need to find a reputable Tint place. Can anyone recommend one in the DC/NOVA area?
