oh sorry, the stroked and supercharged E92 M3 that I'm referring to is PencilGeek's ride, he posted video in post #85, and ran 181mph in the standing mile, but he was up against some tough wind resistance that day..

here is his full write up:

I (Abid) was driving the 135i and the GTR, which I'll post the video up shortly for that car as well.

The 135 has no internal engine mods so comparing it to a stroked m3 is apples and oranges IMO. This car up agains a "bolt on" only e92 M3 or 335i would be good to see.

Here's the video links for the GTR we built that ran 191mph.

Also, here a link to the website for for Top Gun Run. You'll see us listed on the first page for the World Record Holder GTR, They will be updating the site to show the 135i as a World Record Holder as well for the N54.

1400hp GT does 252 but TT G car's only do 240 and they have 1400-1600rwhp..must be aerodynamics.

That is correct, he's my brother and registered the car under his name. I just spoke with Ivan from Top Gun Run this morning, and he will be putting the ASR 135i on the front page of his website along with all the other record breaking cars.

I have a 2.4L 4 cyl making those numbers.... Its all in the build and the money you throw at it, simple formula.

It is very impressive, but quite possible. The 1986 BMW M12, F1 engine "was said to produce about 1,300 hp (969 kW) in qualifying." To meet Formula 1 regulation, the engine was a 1.5 liter four cylinder, with a turbocharger. The M12 was based on the standard BMW M10 engine, produced in the sixties.

Exactly. Comparing it to even a supercharged m3 is ridiculous. hp per liter.

The front end looks so good with headlight tape. Really hides the bulging eyes. I wish the car came with headlights similar in shape to the tape. lol. I'd be all over the 1.

So 177mph is seriously fast for a car that is shaped like a top hat.

More of a bowler hat isn't it?
