I am the biggest BMW fan I know and am leaning Audi, Porsche or corvette for my next purchase....

Lol at making buying decisions without seeing or driving the car in person. And.. apparently you must not know many BMW fans if you feel you are the biggest BMW fan you know, yet you are completely turned off of a car because of the ride height you see watching a video ???

it appears to have the orange reflectors inside of the headlight assemblies.

We dont film US Market cars unless the car is assemble in the US ie "X".
The reflection is one that comes with all 1er models which is visible from a distance.
BMW North America will film the car for their market when it arrives on their shores before official launch.

in order to comply with your highway legislations BMW has to equip all US models with side reflectors to comply with these legislations.

We used US headlights because the EU ones haven't been available in August yet. Pictures were retouched afterwards.

BTW: the car seen in the video stands a bit higher than today's 1 Series M Coupés. It hadn't the final (further optimized) chassis set-up yet.
