Vishnu Performance System
Hey guys:
Has anyone tried the Vishnu Performance System (Stage 0) for the 1 Series. They claim to be able to crank 400hp out of the car and say it doesnt void the warranty as long as you remove the bypassing ECU they provide. Its pretty cheap also! Just woundering if anyone has tried it on a 135, and their experience. T. |

lots of people have tried it. they don't call it "vishnu performance system" though. search for "v3" or "procede". also check out e90post - the turbo tuning section.
and its hardly cheap. jb3 gives you the same gains for $580 instead of $1500

The power gains are the same, but that's where the similarities end. The PROcede is has adjustability, datalogging, and customization features not currently available with any other tune. You're paying more for a more sophisticated tuning system. Many people don't want or need those features, or are on a budget, or aren't interested in fine tuning. Those people should stick with something simple like the JB.

This is my understanding as well, and the reason I'm leaning toward the Proceed or Cp-E system when it's available. Plenty of good tuning options for the 135i, it's just a matter of picking the one that's right for what you want to do. |
