Those who did PCD

Were there holes drilled in your front bumper?

Did you specifically ask them not to drill holes?

I plan on insisting that nothing is attached to the front of my car.

I asked my CA to request no front license plate bracket installation from the PC, and indeed they left the front bumper pristine. :w00t:

Is this something we need to be aware of? I will be doing my PCD sometime next month, I hope.

I made no special request and yet the front plate bracket was still in the trunk so I had them mount it. I know, I know it kills the look of the car but my theory is that I don't want to give those a$$holes a single excuse to pull me over.

Aren't you required to display a front number plate in the U.S.? I wish Australia was like that!

I told them to leave it off as I was going to use a special mounting bracket. (hope they do!)

They waited until I got there and then asked me if I wanted the front bracket mounted or not. I said no and they were fine with that. You need to bring a set of plates (or a temporary tag) with you and they will mount them while you're there. If you want or need a front plate mounted, they will attach the bracket on the spot. I just couldn't stand to see them drill a hole in the front bumper cover!!
