I hope so... The only reason I comment is because I actually am interested in purchasing them. I just want the stuff to come out already!

We are now shipping our first batch of fully polished 3.5" 304 USA Stainless Steel exhaust systems for the BMW 335i. Everything in these systems is identical to our BMW 135i Exhaust Systems except for the rear section. We are still waiting on the 135i tips to arrive so we can complete the BMW 135i orders.

Here's a video of it installed and a sound comparison. Enjoy.

Good stuff. I was under the impression it would be a quad setup but this is a 335i setup. Props for being different. Any info on pricing?

You guys should look at doing the black chrome tips. this is another thing that holds me back from getting aftermarket exhaust. I do not like full chrome or polished anything on my car. I know a lot of other 1er owners feel the same.

It will most likely be around $200 less than the 335i exhaust. We will finalize that shortly.

In the works possibly, but may be a little more $ for the tips to be coated. I agree I like the black tips too, but the HPF non-burnt tips look AWESOME!

love the exhaust, sounds great

i like how you guys took dB reading, but if you do a vid for the 135i, can you include some stock dB reading as well, so we can see the increase in sound?

hmmm...

Seems to me drone is more of a frequency/perceived sound than actual dB level. I can't imagine there being no drone w/o a muffler...

ONE MORE TIME: Seriously no drone in my car. I have catless DP's and get no droning when I had the prototype exhaust. AWD with on E90 Post has just installed his on he 335i and also has NO drone and he is running OE DP's.

Good to hear, guess I didn't see the other post.

now to the next issue, cost.

It is a great looking exhaust but $1700ish is a large number as compared to other systems around here. I wonder if the gains will mirror the pricetag.

I expect cost will be a slight more than the average exhaust. There are a few reasons for this...lots of cost people dont appreciate (fabrication time, prototypes, production pieces, polishing etc) but mostly is the number of production pieces. HPF is a tight community and they do not over produce, the down side is when they run production it cost more and we pay for it. IF you are considering the Stage 2 (turbo upgrade) then this is a no brainer. Flow is less restrictive etc. I have reviewed a few other pieces from other companies (not going to mention names), some are great and other are exactly what you pay for. I am willing to pay a higher price for HPF cause I am fortunate enough to have spent some time with the shop and know all the guys and feel this is good to direct my $$ over to them. Others will disagree and the biggest thing to know is this exhaust will NOT be for everyone. We all have different finacial constraints...I am not one to say 'you paid too much or too little for anyting'. Folks work like I do and can spend their money how they wish. The reason I mention this is due to all the debate on cost on the e90 side.

I will give a full review with loads of pics and HD video and maybe dyno when the final production piece comes in for test fitting.

If they end up offering Black chrome tips that are not those short looking tips that the others put out HPF would have a better edge in the market. Some offer to have tips powder coated but that is not the look I am after.

Chris said $200 less than the 335i version. The 335i version looks to be 1995.00, so 1795.00ish I imagine.

Sounds great. Best part of the vid is you guys doing the db sound check from the correct spot. That is how vehicle inspectors here check questionable or overly agressive exhausts.

Kudos!!
