Thoughts on cool carbon brake pads

So who has any experience with cool carbon pads? Herd great things but not about specific 135i pads.

There are a million posts on this topic. I'm not a fan of cool carbons (other than for reduced brake dust). Initial bite is seriously lacking until pretty warm, but they can't take serious heat like a track pad. That being said, you really need to heat them up every couple weeks or they start to feel weak. The problem is... Once you get them hot enough to transfer pad material to the rotors, it is very easy to get uneven transfer or leave pad impressions on the rotors. This will causes a vibration in the brake pedal which some people mistake for a warped rotor. Again, the only advantage is less brake dust, but in comes at a cost.
