Just received ER FMIC

This post is not to start an intercooler war. thats already been done. I received my ER intercooler today and had some apprehension as a previous poster was very dissatified with the welding. I just wanted to asure everyone that the welding was second to none. It was as good or better than any on the market. I also had Fred install the fan shrould tabs as the unit does not have them. Kudos to Fred and ER as they produce a quality product and are willing to customize it the best they can to suit the customer. Like any upgrade the brand is a matter of personel choice, but I can say that ER is a first class product and customer service is excellent.

BTW: Fred if you read this feel free to credit my card with any discount

congrats, ER makes top notch products, I have their FMIC as well and charge-pipe. They're both polished though not stealth, the both have been performing for about two years now with no downsides.

TO the o.p, I was the one who was not to happy with the welds on this core. The problem was not the of the unit, but the top plates were it connects to the core itself, not the end tanks.I had a long talk with fred (1.5 hours to be honest)nicest guy by the way,and the problem was not with their welding ,but the company who produced it for them. Now as far as the end tanks, anodizing, and fin design was top notch..The car with the core reacts flawless with its performance,in the end I choose a quailty product from a great company.

Guess I was lucky on my order. Sorry you had some issues. The ER FMIC is a great product.

Evolution Racewerks always makes great quality parts for sure.

You should get it dynoed and post up some numbers. I'm curious to see how many HP/TQ you will gain.
