N52 power rating
Does anyone know what the max hp an N52 is rated to hold without forging pistons and whatnot?

Wrong engine either way if power is the goal.

I agree. The point of the 128i is that it's the perfect balance between HP and handling. A tune, intake, and exhaust will collectively add 20hp or so and we do that because tinkering is fun. If speed and power are your game then the 128i is a bad place to start.
If you want one of the last BMWs made in the spirit of days gone by, the 128i is the machine for the job. A true no-nonsense driver's car |

with mods you can add good power to your car.
Not enough data but i would say around 50-60 max . That being said for the price you are going to pay for all these mods you can just sell your car and get a 135. Your car has perfect balance between power, luxury and handling. If your goal is power only, you have picked the wrong car . I would focus more on exterior mods and add an exhaust for a nice aggressive tone.

Get a 135i if you want a turbo 1er. Going to be vastly better than any kit you add to this car.

They haven't released enough info for this to be considered factual yet. I hope to hear good news but nothing is confirmed yet.

I live at 7500' ASL so a low pressure supercharger could be interesting if it is reliable and not too obnoxious.
