hey guys,
im slowly getting all the parts that i ordered on to my car. The delay with these was simply my laziness! anyway, i decided to do the outer black with the chrome vertical slats, i quite like it.... duno if anyone else in aus has done this yet? I'll post some pics, but dont know how well they will turn out. |

Looks great, I'm a fan of that combo.
PS. that the rural clinical school accomodation in the background, it looks mighty familiar?!?

Can't believe it's STILL an old folks home.
Remember some great parties held there.

not really actually, someone once in a while will make a joke about it which is fine. i tend to keep a low profile about the car anyway but most of the remarks i get are mostly positive remarks about the car.

If anyone gives you sh*t about driving a flash car you just say that they should be glad you drive a flash car because that means you're good at your job - especially if they're a patient of yours.
One parent at school has a bit of a good natured dig every time he sees me in a new BMW (4 so far since 2005). When he saw the 135i he said that obviously my business is recession proof, to which I said no it isn't because I was supposed to get an M3 this year!

Haha that is a good one especially if it is a patient! Only problem for Jono is that he is still a student (5th year?), and he doesn't exactly get paid like a qualified doctor!

I also agree with the above !
Good choice jksgoh, there are way too many 'all black' grilles on this forum. Personally my favourite are still the stock items, a little bit of chrome in that area on the 1er regardless of exterior colour looks the business IMHO  |
