Gloss Black Grills

I have found several pictures of many different kinds. Are the cheaper ones just as good as the OEM black ones? I don't mind the extra money for quality, but I am also aware pictures can be deceptive. Pretty excited for gloss black grills. I just want to make sure they are exactly the same as the BMW performance ones.

Some will tell you there is no difference, and that might be true.

I will tell you to buy the ones you really want the first time.

I got these from eBay.
More than happy with the quality on them so far.

They're matte as opposed to gloss though

I have always believed the same thing guys. I have less than no problem buying authentic grills. I just see so many options, but many of the knock offs dont look remotely close. I feel like I am too invested in mods to cheap out on anything at this point.

I don't think you can get aftermarket gloss black grills on eBay? I believe the only aftermarket black grills are the matte black versions. You can get OEM BMW Performance gloss black grills for around $100.00 if you look around. That's what I have on my car and I love them!!

I found a few sites with them. Turner Motorsport shows the same pic for theirs and the bmw performance one. Was wondering how close it really is.

There's one vendor (don't remember who) that doesn't make them quite the same. The outer portion of the grill is thicker than oem. Just a heads up as you're looking around for some.

I sanded my grills, then applied primer, sanded again and took them to a professional painter. Total cost about $45
