Small Intake

Hi - does anyone know what the small intake is next to the brake-fluid reservoir? Has a removable "cage" cover. Thank you.

Interesting. Is the object you're talking about in either of these images.

Convertable?? (found on Google) Do convertibles have a different config under the hood?

Probably the drain. Should be one on each side. They're the only thing I can think of with a removable "cage".

Yeah it's a drain for rain water. The grate is just to keep larger leaves/etc. out

Glad someone figured out that OP was looking at the drains. My brain was getting ready to explode, like, this guy got some sort of custom shit in his engine bay and doesn't know it?
