Creaking top of engine bay drivers side (right side)

Sometimes when I park the car very slowly I can hear a creaking sound from inside the engine bay/behind the dash when I press or depress the brakes slowly. Intermittently occurs only when the car begins to roll ever so slightly (less than one tyre rotation)
Under normal driving circumstances no problem at all, sounds similar to strut bearings crunching/creaking
