WSTO - Synapse BOV Pipe Kit

Dear 1Addicts,

Synapse Engineering has released a BOV kit for the 135i.
The kit utilises the famous Synchronic Blow off Valve. The patented design eliminates the diaphragm with a multi-tier piston actuator that self-centers under pressure, significantly reducing or eliminating compressor surge and will not leak boost.

Synapse BOV Pipe kit for BMW 135i/335i/535i is a direct bolt-on kit
that replaces the factory diaphragm diverter valves with a single, fast-acting
piston-actuated Synchronic BOV.

The kit comes in a black powder coated pipe that includes all necessary
hardware for installation. You will also find Synapse boost-connect fittings
and hoses included.

Common Applications:
• BMW 135i
• BMW 335i
• BMW 535i

Kit Contents Include:
• SB001A
• Intercooler pipe
• Boost connect hoses and fittings

We aren't 100% positive if it will fit. As you may know the Injen filter sits right next to the BOV location, so it will be a tight fit or it won't fit at all. Someone has to be the first to try it!

BOV looks great I just don't know much about the charge pipe...ever blown off or anything cuz if the charge pipe cant handle the boost theres no point in this great BOV..but i feel like it can, is the pipe held in in any special way?

Well it won't be me, it's way too expensive on the synapse website $550. I can get the new STETT charge pipe with a tial 50mm flange, the synapse bov, and the adapter for much less then $550, plus, this charge pipe looks cheap..

just my 2c

Valid concern, however the chargepipe is held on just as the OEM peice is. The difference is the OEM piece is plastic, whereas the synapse kit uses a stainless steel pipe. What this means is the new charge pipe is stronger and can withstand more boost and abuse than the oem pipe.

Thanks!

Just to add to that.... spoke to Synapse and the pipes are powdercoated stainless steel with silicone couplers and the vacuum lines are polyurethane.

We will take pictures and maybe even test on our car for reviews, if we have any left.

thanks for the orders

here are some pictures that we took of the system.

Quality is amazing on the valve.
the pipe has bends that are cut and welds but the quality is pretty good.

Looks like a really simple install.

the BOV

the BOV close up

Hardware that is included
