Bootlid!! I love the way the Hamann spoiler give it that look but I can't justify the funds for just a damn spoiler...
....now a CF Bootlid.....definitely something worth looking into.

Looks like the poll is in a dead heat between four different options, might be time to consider making everything

Well, seeing as there has not been another vote for a few days now, i am here to announce that the INTAKE is the winner! It was a close race between most of the options, so they will be considered as future products as well. We will keep you guys posted as to the estimated cost of the intake and any further info.
Happy Monday! Chris

I would much rather have the option to buy a hood than another intake, so even though my first choices are not represented in the poll, I've put in my vote for the hood. While I would love to see a non power dome OEM style hood if it's tastefully done I could be convinced to get a power dome version.

Chris, while the intake won you should take into account that many people who voted for the other items will not buy the intake whereas if you made the bootlid or hood then many people who voted for others would buy the other item. So what that means you will get less than 20 for the intake and 30 or more for the bootlid. Also after this first run it would be benifical for you guys to to keep up the hype.

The poll is also not closed, therefore no single item has "won." This poll is also not representative of all of iCarbon's/vividracing's perspective customers and what they would purchase. Regarding the intake, consider the fact that many don't care for the aftermarket open intakes they purchased when nothing else was available, and would love to switch to a closed-box CAI similar to the Dinan one that is available. iCarbon would be able to sell the CAI to the 3-series market as well, wouldn't that keep the hype up by introducing their product to a new market with similar tastes? Anyway, can't wait to see stuff materialize. |

Who wants to pay around 500 for an intake. Nothing against icarbon but this is most likely where the price will land. there will also be more r&d going into this to make sure it produces power which means more time and more money.

they will likely replicate an existing expensive carbon intake like GruppeM or Dinan. So the only R&D costs is buying an overpriced intake and making a mold. I hope it will be around $200-250

If they can do a replica of either of those for that price range, I'd change my vote to the intake.

I think a lot of people would bite even if the intake was priced at $300, offer a package deal with another iCarbon part for 30% off and it would be even sweeter!
