Next steps in upgrading

I have just bought a 2008 135i from a friend and it already had a jb3 and a injen CAI.

I am just wandering if I should get a jb4, I have read around and people keep saying to ditch a jb3 to a 4. Or get something else, like or down pipe. Thanks!

which software to choose is a hotly debated issue, but either way you'd probably want to upgrade from JB3 as thats a previous generation tune. Either go for JB4 or MHD flash.

as for hardware upgrades, if your state emission laws allow, i'd go for a downpipe. otherwise an intercooler.

+1 on swapping to a JB4 G5.

Jb3 is very old and outdate, they haven't sold them new in years. The new JB4 is more refined and has more safety and features available.

I'd definitely upgrade.

JB4 would be the latest tune.
