Better to be prepared, eh?
Prepared for what, a stakeout??

BMW First Aid Kit
BMW M Mobility Kit (non-RFTs and Leather Z space saver tire kit at home in garage, compliments of original owner.)

I am also a minimalist and because I only drive locally, I'm thinking about leaving the Mobility Kit in my garage and relying on AAA premier membership in my wallet for 200 mile towing.

Appreciate all the advice. After a few years to think it over, I am now carrying...

1. One of my winter wheel/tires as a spare.
2. A small crank up jack and a breaker bar.
3. Owners Manual and other assorted helpful information given to me by BMW.
4. A couple of small towels, just in case.

I appreciate the advice given to me by younger 1ADDICTS. Yes, I now realize that I am no longer driving around in the sparsely populated 1960's, and that I can buy almost anything I need at any one of a million 24 hour roadside stores which are now conveniently located every 150 yards along every road large enough to have a painted centerline. I thank you.
