Just the hood. It matches very well until it gets dusty/dirty

Those are pointer cones, they tell you which way to go

Dyno went OK, missed out on a lot of power up top. Ended up putting down 440rwhp @ 5.1k RPM and 475rwtq @ 3.5k RPM on our 3rd pull.

Woah. You going to do the master cylinder too or just see how things are with the stock one first?

Sticking with stock master cylinder, I believe it should work fine with the M3 brakes but time will tell all

M3 will basically stay stock, it's great as-is! Just tempted to get some BBS FI-R for it or something. M3 will be used at the track and 1er will continue to be street/auto-x dual duty. Eventually I'd like to pick up a track prepped e30/e36/s2000 or something.

1er conversion is getting close to completion, can't wait to get it back! Rear subframe that I sourced wasn't in as good of shape as I had hoped, had to get fresh rotors/pads/wheel bearings. Ground Control is almost done with rebuilding my front strut housings to work with M3 spindles and my new wheels should be here for the rear (still 18x9.5" EC7's, but going from E58 -> ET43 due to subframe/hubs being narrower).

I love my E36. Was my project/track car for almost a decade. Now working on the new E82 I picked up. Retired the E36 from mods, exhausted her haha. Hell yeah, those BBS FI-R would look amazing on the M3. Can't wait to see the 1 when it gets back.

I'd love to hear some more thoughts on your Stage 2+ VTT units coupled with E40. I am heavily looking into this setup very soon.

Have been running them for about a year now and they've been awesome! They spool real quick and have great top end. I currently run stage 2 LPFP and we had to lower the boost to just 21psi tapering to 19psi towards redline -- I clearly need fueling upgrades badly. Planning on getting Tony's single barrel shotgun setup in the future.

That's exactly the fueling setup I have. So without any more fueling 21psi and tapering to 19psi with E40 on this setup is about all the stock HPFP can handle it seems. Nice to know. I really don't want to tinker with additional fuel mods past an LPFP upgrade, but I'd love to be able to turn the boost up to the 25psi range. I'm sure 19-21psi on the Stage 2+ units feels far different than the OEM turbos that I'm running at similar levels now though.

Yup, I think YMMV (maybe my HPFP is on it's way out) but that's what was working for us.
