As per requested. This pic is of inside the passenger side 1M front bumper side air "vent". A small rectangle was cut out to allow for clearance for the over sized ER competition oil cooler.

Went out to the shop this morning to drop off more parts (RevoZport CF front splitter, ECS Tuning scavenger air line, 1M sized battery and others parts) and to check on progress. Windows are out, sunroof and related parts are out, rear seats are out. Custom back-half roll hoop and harness bar will be fab'd and welded in. Rear seats will stay out.

As you can see in the pics my custom one-off 1M/135 side skirts are off and ready to be sold. They are at the shop in Hatfield PA ready for pickup. PM me if interested. I'm first pursuing anyone "locally" as I don't have time to determine shipping costs, etc. as I have to travel for work.

Unfortunately some of these pics are crappy from my iPhone. I did set the first pic to use flash, but didn't realize that I would have to do that for each pic (I thought iPhone would leave it in that mode until I explicitly set it back to auto or off??? Ugh! Thanks Apple! Idk? Maybe I messed something up?...).

Excellent thankyou, I've got the same setup (ER comp coolers) and just got the 1M parts. Did the oil cooler metal shrouds/ducting line up with the 1m front bumper? I'm not planning to go with oem plastic ducting, will fabricate a mesh cover to stop debris.

IMO, yes. You will need to relocate the TPMS receiver. See post #223.

Cool - good luck!

Love VAC, not a fan of their location.

My 1 doesn't have NAV or sat radio. Is it possible to use the build-in stock satellite antenna for those track data acquisition setups (like TrackMate or whatever)?

If not and I end up removing the sat antenna because I don't want a hole in my CF roof then I'm told that I would need to remove the full unit in the trunk and get a terminator for the connection. Does anyone know what kind of terminator I would need, where to buy and how much?

Let me know. Thx.

ShocknAwe & dcaron9999 >> Thanks!

Yeineken >> When I get my car back I'll post and let you know. When I had my car back two months ago from the shop from installing the MOTIV 750 turbo kit over the winter it was too cold and too crappy of weather to assess.

Ok, more specific question as I'm gathering info and trying to compare costs associated.

It looks like you purchased the 1M rear quarters and had them welded. Where did you decide to do the cuts, and what made you choose that location. Did your guys have to deal with any factory weld removal?

Thanks.

I am not doing it the same way that ilikebmxbikes, Venom or TUNED did. One, because the shop had to removed all glass to remove the sunroof & roof to install the RevoZport CF roof and since all glass was removed (2) we decided it was easiest (and cheapest) to install the 1M rear quarters similar to how the factory would install them (as pictured). The rear wheel well will need work (cut and a piece welded in) to fill the gap for the wider 1M rear quarters. Plus, the shop will need to roll the 1M rear fenders to clear the 295/30/19 rubber.

Ah, no way I'm gonna have the rear glass removed. I like my sunroof.

Very curious to see how the RZ cf roof comes out for you.

Cheaper than doing a custom rear widening in the end? Or did you look into that.

That's cool. I never used my sunroof and since I track my 1 I didn't want all that weight up high. Loosing all that weight plus replacing with super light RZ CF roof should lower the center of gravity and improve handling.

Back on 3/5 I order a Meisterschaft Stainless 1M axle-back from Mike at Extreme Power House. I was told there is an 8 week lead time. Eight weeks go by and no exhaust, so I contact Mike and he asks me to call Rob at GTHaus West coast distribution. So I do only to find out that somehow my order was missed. Rob said he would expedite and said another 2 to 3 weeks. That was 2 weeks ago. So I follow up with Rob yesterday and he replies via email today saying good news that my exhaust will be ready by the end of this month, which means I won't receive it for another week or so after that. Ugh! So that will be nearly 14 weeks after I placed my order and paid. I feel GTHaus needs to do something for me here. Am I wrong?

If this goes any more sideways and I need to pursue a full refund what other 1M axle-back exhausts would you recommend?
