go for metallic, the shine and depth it gives to your car worth the extra care.
anyway, washing a car like the 1 coupé is pure fun. if you really want a color that best hides dirt and scratches then go for the Space gray. it's new and it's beautiful. |

Ditto on the Cashmere.
And it's purdy, too!

Probbably silver. I just ordered a TiAg 1er after having a black E46 for the last three years. It was just a pain to keep clean although it looked amazing for the 1 day it would usually stay clean.

My current car is silver, and I have to agree, the color is nice and is relatively easy to keep clean.
Problem is, because of those facts, everyone and their brother are choosing it. Silver is the *yawn* new white...zzzzzzz..... |

I washed mine for the first time this morning. All I'm going to say is that this car has a LOT of surface area to wash considering it's small volume! Took me over an hour to wash wheels, wash car, dry car, dry wheels!

Sparkling Graphite Metallic does not show dirt. I assume that Space Gray would fall into that same category.
As mentioned above with my SGM, I have washed the brake dust off the wheels and I'm good to go.....the body just looks clean always.

LOL, no.
But I did make my decision. I decided to go with AW because it apparantly is relatively easy to clean (at least compared to black) and hides scratches and stone chips well. It was also cheaper than the Space Grey I was considering, which is always nice. Also never owned a White car before so it'll be something new. Car has been ordered and it's expected to be in my hands by May 30th, *crosses fingers* Thanks for all the opinions. |
