Question Help with 135i springs?? Bump stops?

I am looking at BMW perf yellow springs or H and R oe sport springs. I have BMW performance shocks/struts to install and don't want a huge drop.

For you guy's that use the H and R oe sport did you get new bump stops?

Thanks much

I just put eibach pro kit springs on mine. Lowered it quite a bit. I had to align it but I'm still using stock bump stops.

Do you have performance shocks on? And are you not concerned about blowing your shocks out with the pro kit

I don't drive it hard enough to blow out the shocks. I bought the springs off my buddy who tracked his 135 all the time and didn't have any problems. Worst case Blown shocks= warranty

It doesn't work like that.

If BMW can prove that you blew a shock because you ran it out of spec (ie ran it with an unmatched spring) than they aren't liable for squat.

Thats what I am trying to figure out. I want to lower the car but not blow shocks. I understand this might require getting correct shocks accordingly and stuff like that but I was just wondering whats the best way to go about lowering the vehicle ( not crazy low ) and not blow shocks.

Then dont go around giving out advice about it when the average guy doesnt work for a dealer.

Maybe for you blown shock = warranty. But that might not be the case for the OP because he doesnt have the leeway of employment in the same fashion that you might.

that wasnt my advice. my advice was that my buddy ran these same springs on his 135 on the track for a year driving hard with no problems.
