These are the instructions on how to install this retrofit:

The information was pending to be posted. My work computer was unusable for a couple days, thus the delay.

Car Communication Computer (CCC) or DVD/CD Headunit.
**uses the same connector as your factory radio. For the rest you will only need to tap 4 wires: Power / Ground / CAN Hi / CAN Lo.

Here are the instructions:

Central Information Display (CID) --- Utilizes Fuse F61(10A)

** LVDS Cable (x13823 – 10-pin) – run directly from CID to CCC
** Connector x13822 (said to be 6-pin, but on most CID it's 12-pins):

Connect Pin #1 (RT/GE - Power) from CID to Pin 37 of connector x14272 of A4010 (JBE)
Connect Pin #3 (BR – Ground) from CID to Pin 27 of connector x14272 of A4010 (JBE)
Connect Pin #5 (OR/GR – K-Can H) from CID to Pin 11 of connector x14272 of A4010 (JBE)
Connect Pin #6 (GN – K-Can L) from CID to Pin 30 of connector x14272 of A4010 (JBE)

I-Drive Controller --- Utilizes Fuse F13(5A)

** Connector x10387 (4-pins):

Connect Pin #1 (RT/WS – Power) from controller to Pin #3 of connector x11003 of fuse box
Connect Pin #2 (BR – Ground) from controller to Pin #12 of connector x13812 at CCC
Connect Pin #3 (OR/GN) from controller to Pin #11 of connector x13812 at CCC
Connect Pin #4 (GN) from controller to Pin #9 of connector x13812 at CCC

I wish I had the money. Is it an easy install? And this comes with all required parts for a direct install?

Yes, is pretty easy to install if you feel comfortable working in your car by yourself... you don't have to be an expert.

These are all the parts you will need to have the system working. Additionally you will need the plastic front cover for the CCC (the one included is from a E90) and the base for the I drive controller (if your car didn't come with it)... ah, and the GPS antenna.

Out of curiosity.. why didn't you just sell the car with the navi? Car should be worth more with it installed since its all OEM.

I didn't finish the installation. I had the system connected and working, but never got to buy the front cover and the center console to put the iDrive; so cannot invest more time or money in the car right now.
