Ed redelivery on the 5th

I dropped the car off on the 7th of oct and will pickup from the dealer on nov 5th. That is lot faster than I thought. Pretty excited to pick the car up.

That is very encouraging! I dropped mine off on the 25th, and am not planning on seeing t again till December...

Is this your car? I dropped off my AW 1M at LOGINOUT on 10/25 as well and saw this in the parking lot a few spaces away from where I parked.

I saw that, too. Last night the shipping company website couldn't find my car and then I checked again this morning and there is was on the Elektra, ready to leave Bremerhaven tomorrow!

Are you doing PCD? I am, but I don't have a date yet.

Still no car or eta. Car made it through customs but not through redelivery. Damage to a wheel and clear coat. Had to laugh, really! When the joy riding was happening was there any damage to the curb?

The clear coat was fixed before I could tell them to just ship the car where I could have some control over the repair job and have no idea about the wheel.

I am not mad and I am glad they fixed. It was probably nothing but a tie down or something on the wheel damage and I hope the front bumper was just the underneath.

The sad part is I missed one of the last good weekends of the year with a local two day autocross to get race keeper data on the car.

Turns out the car has a broken windshield and is waiting on a replacement but no one has an eta. I have called the number listed in the wiki of bimmerfest but really don't know where to go with tis from here.

So, did you get the car or not? Your first post says they were ready and you had the 5th, but then it looks like you didn't get it?

What boat were you on? I dropped mine on Sept 28th and it was in port here on Nov.1. BMW dealer system said re-delivery would be the 8th, but still no car!

My car cleared customs on the 4th and was to be on a truck and at the dealer the next day. It is a week over due at the point and has damage...

I thought I got lucky with the quick loading on the boat and quick crossing but let the waiting began. I was hoping to come and run with you guys at the next event.

Same thing happened to me when I was waiting for my car for Ofest.

no damage.. but it was crazy that it took 12 days for me to pick it up after it had cleared customs, and all it needed to do was travel 180 miles from GA to SC.

Car is at the dealership and going to pick it up in the morning. Who knows about all the broken stuff.... I am just happy to get the car at this point. I feel/hope everything is ok.

Redelivered today. Glad to have the car.

The front bumper was still damaged and will have to be replaced with the all supporting pieces. Damn shame to hold the car for two weeks and then ship it broken after claiming to fix it. Thank god for the Chris at the dealership for ordering replacement parts and letting me have the car until the replacement parts come in.
