Lux H8 V3 won't turn off

Hi all

I've searched now for quite a while but cannot seem to find a solution. I have a 135i and just purchased and installed the Lux H8 V3. Beautiful lights I might add. However, I cannot get them to turn off. They're ON in the "0" position, the "park light" position and on the "ON" position and also on when in "Auto". So basically all light switch settings have the Lux as on.

Can they be turned off? My normal halogens work normally as they should.

Regards

Someone please correct me if I am wrong but I was never able to turn off my halo's (I don't think). I rememeber my wife getting pissed at me cause she couldn't see cause my halos were blinding her and the only way I was able to turn them off was to pull the key fob out (I had already turned my car off).

This was before I added the LUX.

You can control them using the "Daytime Running Lights" settings in the iDrive.

If it's set to "On" then they'll be on whenever the key is inserted. (although they will turn off after a while if you leave the key in after turning the car off - this can also be controlled by the iDrive.)

the only way to turn them off is through the cars computer, refer to your owners manual for specific instructions, since I dont know if you have iDrive or not

+1 with what was said above. they are problaby on since you have the DRL's enabled. Dont forget that your halogen bulbs exacted the same exact way these are only a bulb replacement so it doesnt affect the way they would normally operate
