I agree. That's gray. It's the lighting on those pics that adds a yellow hue.

Man.. this is tough decision. My current car is Jet Black. Not doing Jet again. Beautiful but, high maintenance and shows all blemishes.
So, it's down to SGM or Black Sapphire Met. This might be it tho.. with black L'ette, SP, Hi-Fi, HD and heated seats.

Hey - these are great pic's. I was looking to see if there were any high quality photo's of the SGM exterior as I just decided to order my car in this color with the Terra interior. I think it will look fantastic.... I think the moderator for this forum has this combo in the E90 and said he loves it. My brother has the E90 with the MB/Terra combo and it looks great too.

GatoGrande, I posted pics of my current car here in a European Delivery thread. There's a lot of pics of terra in other threads that are a decent representation of the color, but it's difficult to get a good color representation of terra in pics.

In this picture BMW's SGM looks very similar to Honda's Carbon Grey Pearl, which was the color of my 06 TSX. It's a nice color to live with everyday; understated and elegant not too awful to maintain. If BMW wasn't offering BSM I'd seriously consider doing a color repeat.

Went to the dealer today to see the colors in person. It's Sunday so no salesman around. There was a 335i in SGM. Looks great. My previous 3 cars have been Jet Black 2002 325Ci, Jet black 2000 VW GTI VR6, Diamond black 1991 318is. I'm ready for a change and this is what I want now. Best to see these colors in person, although these pictures are quite good.

Yes - its a good point. I wound up going to a dealer and seeing the colors in person and I liked the SGM very much - I am sticking with my decision.
