Forge FMIC arrives :)

My new Forge FMIC has finally arrived. Quality looks superb and installation seems straight forward with accompanying instructions.

Looking forward to installing it this weekend. Should make my Evolve Stage 1 map perform more consistently. Will provide feedback after fitment and test drive!

Heres a couple of pictures for now...

Nice one Hetan, very easy job and about half hour if you can use a hoist otherwise axle stands and a second set of hands should see you done in under an hour removing the oem jobbie and fitting the forge, uses all the same mounting brackets and plumbing couplings then its out of sight and looks oem from the front.

Thanks mate, I'm going to use my mates garage on a proper ramp so should make it easier. Gives me a chance to take a good look underneath!

Aussie donated his car for development and has been specifically designed for the 335i (n55) and 1M. Details can be found here:

Anybody that has an appreciation of metal fabrication would be very impressed with the workmanship on this IC.

I also run there re-circ valves and actuator in my other car and they are also spot, will be ditching the pace cooler I have in the opc and replacing with the forge race cooler shortly, even the braided brake lines they gave me are spot on and are a straight uncomplicated fit....You can't go wrong with a Forge product.

This is truly plug and play right, no trimming of the front bumper cover required?

Hmm perhaps I will have to get this as my intercooler upgrade when the time comes. It's about 100 degrees outside here every day now...

All our guys running the Forge units have reported no need for cutting on the E8X and the E9X. These are as close to a performance plug and play intercooler as they come.

if this requires no trimming like the ETS, it's time to do some research on which to go for.

Love my Forge FMIC...great mod I also added the Forge DVs, the stock DVs just looked pathetic so I had to replace them.

Did you change your charge pipe as well or just the DVs?

Any recommendations on which vendors to get this from? Does IND sell it?
