What can I 'print' for my 1er?
Brainstorming for fun 3D printer tasks. Thinking of printing out my own custom start button ring with 'whatever message I want' embossed in the plastic then filled with epoxy paint.
What other fun LITLLE things could I make? I'd need a solidworks (?) drawing... Printer's not mine but I have 'a guy' - for a couple really cool projects. Any ideas?

I could see value in a removable, generic device mount (a la Proclip) that plugs into the iDrive cup holder socket next to the shift lever, made out of black plastic.
I have SolidWorks, and a cup holder on the way. If anyone knows the Proclip hole pattern, it would be pretty easy to model. |
