2 turbos on an N55?

has anyone done, or considered, doing a swap from 1 twin-scroll to a 2 snail setup on their N55?

seems like the n54 guys are making the highest numbers...aside from ecu differences etc. seems like the only difference between the n55 and n54 in making power and #'s is the turbo setup???

clearly an obvious question for some, but wondering if its possible...trolls dont hate.

BMW realized this as well.. that's why the S55 exists. I don't think it's ever been done, but really most of the extreme N54 guys are big singles. I think until tuning opportunities open up we're kinda stuck with the N55 for now. Pure stage 2 is a nice jump in power, but a big top mount Motiv kit would be nice

Alpina also did this. Sounds like a good idea but would be tons of work for not all that much benefit over a single.

Lol I'm with you 100%...if I had the $$ for a supercharger I would pull the trigger asap. Sigh one can dream...what is it these days? $20k all in w labor for top of the line unit?

Shouldn't be $20k.
Back when I had my RX-8, I was looking at top shelf superchargers and most were in the $8k-$10k range for everything. Then again, that was 10 years ago, so my info is a little dated.
