BMW E82 1M Coupe: Evolve-R ECU Tune Stage 1 MFG PN EV111AA   This software upgrade was designed and tested extensively at Evolve's in-house dyno facility and on the road to give optimal performance with maximum safety. Significant time was taken to develop the software to give improved throttle response and factory like drivability with a progressive power delivery. Evolve's engine tuning philosophy is to improve driveability and enjoyment. They do this by giving an increase in power and torque throughout the entire rev range, and not just a 'glory' BHP figure found at high rpm where you don't spend the majority of your time. Evolve's figures are also very conservative and can easily be replicated on other dynos. Features:
 To get this software, Evolve now offers the revolutionary Evolve-R remote tuning tool. The Evolve-R is the latest hardware release from Evolve, enabling customers to load their industry leading ECU software upgrade directly into their vehicles themselves, at home. You can choose between the stock map or upgraded Evolve map at your convenience, and no evidence is left when you restore your stock software. Do you already have other modifications? No problem.  The 1M is fully compatible with the evolve-R cable so you can load your original/tuned maps into the car as you please. Evolve will have stage 2 tuning complete very soon for full downpipe back exhaust systems including Akrapovic's EVO system, in addition to upgraded FMICs and performance downpipes. The cars that Evolve utilized to dyno the tune in the charts below have had no adaption as dyno runs have been done straight after flashing the evolve map in. They will smooth out and gain some more power as is normal with 135i's after they have had a chance to adapt to the tuning. Evolve-R - Installation Overview
1. Install the supplied software on your laptop (Windows XP/Vista/7 ) 2. Connect the cable to your OBD-II port and read your ECU into a file. 3. Email Evolve the file 4. Evolve tunes the file, emails it back and you use the evolve-R to flash the tuned file into your ECU. You can replace your original/tune file at will, and of course if you add any additional modifications in the future, you use the same process to load up the new file Evolve would send you.
