Thanks for the replies and the picture. Does anyone else have another pic that they would like to share?
Here is the package I got. I ordered the aluminum trim but a mistake happened so I ended up getting this (i don't even know what it is)... I think both look very nice I'm just curious what the alum looks like, thx: |

Mine is grey. You can check it out in my interior picture thread. The link is in my sig.
It's grey cloth, but the colour is pretty similar to leather.

Here's my gray leather w/aluminum trim.
BTW what trim did you get- burl or poplar? They can swap it out very easily with another car.

MrDreamWeaver, it looks like you've ended up with the Gray/Walnut combination of which I am also a proud owner. You can find photos of all of these combos if you sift through the interior pictures thread. That is, if you're not on dialup *shudder*.
Obviously I prefer the combo in your car right now over aluminum; I also weighed the two before picking which one to order. However like others said, if your dealer is nice enough to fix their own mistake, it seems several members have been able to get trim changed from one car to another with little to no problems. Good luck.

Thanks for the replies everyone.
I'm happy with my current color. The alum/grey also looks good but I think they are pretty much the same. If i had to do it again, however, i would get the black/alum and stick shift Last edited by MrDreamWeaver; 02-15-2006 at 01:39 AM.. |
