using current run flats on new larger wheels, will they fit?
My run flats are pretty much brand new so I want to run them into the ground if possible.
Current run flats: 215/40R18 front and 245/35R18 rear. New wheels: 18x8.5 et45 front and 18x9.5 et45 rear. I know the general consensus on here is to ditch run flats, but that is a little beyond my budget currently. Appreciate the feedback |

Yes, probably will fit however RFT sidewalls are very stiff so don't be surprised if your new wheels are scratched a bit when they are mounted. You should have kept your money, kept the RFTs on the wheels you had and when you had enough money, put conventional tires on the new rims. Just recently had woren out RFTs removed from OE rims and the technician (all they do is tires) had difficulty removing the old tires (RFT's).
And, BTW when buying aftermarket wheels, it is HIGHLY recommended to buy 5 wheels. |

The recommended rim width range for the 215/40/18 is 7-8.5" while the range for the 245/35/18 8-9.5". Hope this helps!

Those specs may appear a bit "stretched" on the wheels, although the term "stretched" is a bit subjective. But again, they would still be within the safe range.
