My 135is finally came in!

It took 3 months but it was well worth the wait. I've wanted a 1 since they first announced them and I saw one at my dealer in 2008 and I finally made the plunge and bought a 135is.

I couldn't be more pleased with the car, I've owned a long list of drivers cars and this is the best by a large margin. I was completely not prepared for how aggressive the car sounds, totally unexpected from BMW. The turbo spool and recirc is very clearly audible and the exhaust is MEAN.

I have an auto-x event/car control class in a month so I plan on taking a few road trips before then to break her in.

i LOVE the way the 135is sounds....easily the best sounding BMW i have heard in a loooong time. Sounds 'old school' even. Can't wait for mine.

That is awesome! Your video's keep me sane while I wait for mine. Taking delivery tomorrow at 0900. The wait is finally over. Hardest 2 months of my life. LMB Black/blue interior. DCT PREM TECH + butt warmers.

The 1 series coupe will be replaced, renamed and completely redesigned... It will be called the 2 series... Ok fine, but to me, the 1 is gonna always be the 1, a wanted car for the years to come. Love it!

Damn never heard PE in person but from those vids it is amazing. Is 135IS version resonator deleted?

Ha, yeah there are a few 3 series around here. That's actually my friend's driveway on the other side of my neighborhood, he has another 135.

As far as I know the exhaust is just the BMW performance exhaust kit that you can purchase for a normal 135i, actually not sure on what all they have under there but I've been meaning to look. And it sounds even better in person. I cant wait to see the vids my friend will take of me in my first auto-x even in about a month.

Ya, I don't think anything can prepare for that PE sound. I could hear from inside the showroom when my dealer was bringing it from about a block away.

While walking out of work today, a new M3 pulled out of the garage and went by and it sounded all weird and high-pitched whiney and all I thought was how much better our v6 sounded than that as ours sounds like an exotic and angry beast that just says, git outta my way! Wonder if there was something wrong with that M3.

I think the exhaust sound gets better and better as the engine breaks in and the exhaust soots up.

M3 whine is intake noise.
