Now, with a helmet on, looks like I will have a couple of inches clearance the most. May be I do need to look into a new seat - or learn to seat less upright.

Thanks everyone for their help.
When is the GB for the seats happening

Tried that, no difference.

Thanks alik01 for sending through the seat pics - so definitely very similar in height. So, I will just put it down to my seating angle.

May be a new seat and roll cage is in order...

Upon closer inspection, my passenger seat was visibly lower (I had never noticed).

I took it to the dealer yesterday and they had a look and 'reprogrammed' the car - lo and behold - it's about 2-3" lower! Seating position is much much better.

TimMc thought it'd be good to post in case any other 1M owners have similar afflictions.

THANKS TimMc!

Very true . Not sure if Kamal monitors the forum now, or if he would know if that was the case.

Sure, but with x00 number of views it's reasonable to think someone has tried.

I killed my virtualbox prefs when I had to rebuild whilst in Redmond, if I get time in the next week or two I will give it a crack (and hope it's not a wasted effort!)

Hi folks,

Trying to figure out which module to have reprogrammed to get the seat to lower more. I've checked around and haven't had any luck.

Help is appreciated.

I would have thought the footwell module (frm) controls the electric seats but I dont see any functions for seat height in the FRM

I noticed something weird which I still need to verify.
I adjusted the seat with the "1st" key but did not save to memory.
I decided to charge the 2nd key and noticed I couldn't get the seat to same height.

Next step: Go back to 1st key and see if I can get lower seat height.

Might be worth playing with your keysets/spare.

EDIT: Nope.

I've got no choice as mine is performance seats :P but it should work regardless unless what you can do it reset each key to start new.
