First i love my beemer. I can say IMHO that the interior is slightly "bland"-no disrepect intended. However sometimes "less is more".....

The dash is minimal but highly functional. Someone wisely mentioned this is more of a sport rather than luxury vehicle. If those luxury perks are desired-you should have went with a Benz or High Line Lexus. You would however seriously suffer when it comes to the handling and "refinement" of the E90.

I love this car!!!!!! Who needs real burlwood and usless fancy/confusing gages cluttering the dash!!!!!!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL(IS THAT POLITICALLY CORRECT ENOUGH)!!!!

very shallow and cheap.....what do you expect...
How on earth can you say that?

If you want to see shallow and cheep, go sit in ANY American car. The E90 interior is very functionally designed and they use thick, extremely high quality plastics. I would put the E90 interior's build quality up there with Audi and I think it surpases Lexus (I always thought Lexus interiors were beautifully crafted, but that the materials they utilized were not as nice; sort of like... gussied up Toyota parts!).

To call the E90's interior cheep though is simply asanine.

My car's interior still has essence of new car smell. Another wonderful interior feature.

I don't like the wood and it feels like the controls for hte windows are too far down, I roll down the rear windows vice the front ones if I jsut reach for them and don't think about having to reach further.

Can u program them to unlock when u turn off the car? I hate turning off the car, have to pull on the handle twice to get out, once to unlock and once to open it, and then try to get my kid out and realize his door is still locked.

I never disliked the interior. I think it is very luxurious but not cluttered, very simple and clean (non i-drive)

The BMW has a timeless design. How many 10 year old Acuras, Infintis, or Lexus' have you seen that you can honestly say " Wow even after 10 years that car still looks great". Cars are my passion and I an not swayed by a gimmicky dash or a futuristic layout. I am more into to soul and passion of this car. No the lines are not perfect. Not the lights and bell arent as bright, but in five years you can say It all worked out fine. Say that about an IS300, Legend, J30 etc...With the exception of a NSX!!!

The first time i saw the interior of a 3 series I hated it. It looked very bland. A fellow worker told me "some people prefer simplicity". If you were driving a Japanese car you will not like the E90's interior much at first. But trust me, it will grow on you. All my friends have either Toyota or Honda but when they get in my car they always compliment how nice it looks and how much they like it. I think its simplicity is elegant and ...sexy.

I test drove the E90 after test driving the IS350 and I liked the bimmers interior MUCH more then the Lexus. I also liked the ride 100X more than the Lexus so we bought the bimmer for my wife... I own a G35 and I have heard many people complain about that interior as well. I like both interiors just fine but the bimmers is MUCH quieter than the Infiniti's as far as the rattles and fit & finish...

The only thing that could be improved on IMO are the cup holders. I do not have a problem with the locations of them but they could be a little bit deeper. When I put a full bottled water in them and take a turn the water bottle will topple out of the holder...

If you can I do not know how. I was able to program it so all the doors unlock when I touch the handle (Comfort Access), but that's it.

Most people would agree Audi interior is the benchmark for interior quality. Fit and finish as well as qualities of materials. When I was evaluating what car I was going to buy, for some reason I liked the Audi...but the centre console was just way too intrusive.

Anyhow, I went on a call with one of my sales reps in their A4, and I just looked at the dash and thought, damn, there's just way too much going on there. And, thinking, am I ever glad I went with the E90. I see the A4 on the road and simply have become ambivalent to the car. See an E90, and I still think "now THAT's a good looking car".

I love my cars interior with just one very minor complaint I dont like the little thing around the mirror in the sun visor... Other than that I think the poplar with the black leather is a very nice combination and I like the general layout...

I really like the simplicity and design of the E90 interior. I have gotten a 5 series as a loaner and I prefer the E90 interior instead

But what I would like to have the wood trim under the cdplayer/heat control just like the X5 has..That would be a nice touch

It surprises me how many of you complain about the e90 interior. I had a 2005 e46 prior to this, and I test drove an Audi. I remember being severly dissapointed by the interior of the e46 325 after riding in the a4.

While I still cannot draw compairison to the a4 interior with the newer e90, it's clear that BMW has targeted a wider market with their three series with the enormous improvements to its interior.

It is still a bit sparse, not flashy. However, the quality of material and assembly cannot be disputed. I have an Acura as well. The japanese interior, even in the luxury line, is very cheaply built.

I came from an 04 Acura TL. The interior is nice but the material is subpar. The fit is terrible. There are a lot of parts that didn't fit evenly. Rest your elbow too long on the door trim and it leaves an indentation. The glove compartment has a gap when it's closed. I could go on but it's not worth my time. Sometimes I really regret wasting my money buying one.

I love the interior on my E90. The materials feel great. Fit is what you expect in a luxury sports sedan. Top-notch. It's a driver's interior
