10mm wheel spacers

Hi all,

So ive been doing some reading and research on spacers. Wanting to get some purely for aesthetics.

On one of the threads ive been reading that 10mm spacers for BMWs can cause vibrations because of the way it sits on the hub. Just want to get feedback from people who actually have 10mm spacers setup on their cars.

Thinking of getting 10mm fronts and 12mm rear on stock setup, though in future i am thinking of going one size up on PSS tyres either 255 fronts (or 245 if rubbing is an issue) / 275 rears

Turner has an excellent write up regarding spacers and if you haven't read it, I recommend going through it: https://www.turnermotorsport.com/t-w...yclopedia.aspx

Especially the bit about bottoming-out...

As regards 10 mm spacers, Turner and Burger (and others) sell hub-centric versions. But as they're right at the limit of available space, they're not guaranteed to work with all rims. So you kinda have to try and see if they're okay. If you pick up a set of used spacers, then your $-investment for the experiment isn't too bad.

Karl.
