I find the difference in various car forum cultures interesting, from an anthropological view. Over on the twin trubo RX-7 forum and Porsche forum folks obsess over un-sprung weigh and anyone suggesting wheels that weigh more than the factory forged wheels get reamed. Here in the land of the Ultimate Driving Machine, not so much.

I agree! I had a set on my old audi wagon with low pro tires on minnesota streets, potholes everywhere. Great wheels

and OP is referring to Rotary Forged wheels ... i.e. Apex Arc 8, forgestar etc.

NOT true Forged, HRE, etc.

That would be per wheel and that's actually a little low. More like over $1500 per wheel if you want a nice finish on them.

Im on the same boat. Looking for style like the v710s but lighter and not too expensive. They HAVE to be made for 1er because of the hub size and ofset, im not buying new wheels that are guaranteed to come with complications and require more pieces. Rings and spacers r a pain.

Heres the problem:

Breyton gts-r r a good option because they're ~18lbs but they only come in 7.5 and 8.5 widths. No good

Apex Arc 8 are the rights size in every aspect and weigh ~18lbs too but no concavity... They can pass for oem wheels.. Boring...

Both are within $100 each of the v710.

Its a combination of looks, fitment, price and weight. I cant seem to get all 4... Theres always something missing! But hey thats how this works. If U r picky u better be willing to pay for it!

Still looking for the exception though. Maybe someone has found the answer?

I'm surprised more people haven't talked about MRR LT1s. Fairly light, good price, look good (in my opinion...I like Advans but not the prices). Offsets aren't perfect but as good as 95% of what you can get (excluding ARC8s))

I have a set in hypersilver in my room....really need to buy some new tires so I can mount and post some pics
