I'm in the same situation - lease ending on my '07 335 and most likely getting a 135. No mods except exhaust.

It's too early to tell what will work with the N55. We just need to wait until the tuners get their hands on a few of the new cars. Fingers crossed that it'll at least produce the same amount of power as on the N54's.

well the mod i definitly want to do is a jb3 pnp and intake but if its not going to be the same power output or even compatible i might have to search for a 2010 so i can get an n54 or i do have the option to buy out my 07 335i but i rather not since its going to be outdated and it was slightly abused.. lol.

You think a 2007 vehicle is "outdated?"

No way the current JB3 will work on the N55 out of the box.

I think a lot of the people on these forums are comfortable with this.

I'd say the JB3 isn't going to work on the N55 for sure. Even if the wiring were the same (which is very unlikely considering one has two turbos and the other only has one) the mapping will be completely different.

I'm also betting Terry already has something in the works and will have Beta versions on the market within months after the cars are here. The development process will be very similar to the current JB3, and we all know he's got that down to a science.

Terry is known to surprise industry with his innovative tunes and speedy releases. If the N55 tune is anything like the N54, it will fly.
