? strut brace for 135i vert
have o9 135i vert which on rfts seems skippy and harsh over bumps with modest shake.
wondering if strut brace would help on the front or if just ditching the tires is all I need. seems like michelin pss , conti dws and hankook v12 are all options but not clear if one better the other. help............... |

A strut brace will not help. Better tires will help, and better shocks will help. A stiffer front swaybar might help.
PSS and V12 are summer tires, cannot be used in winter. PSS is probably the all around best, V12 is very good for the buck. DWS is an all-season tire with especially good snow performance, but probably not good enough for Rochester. |

Yes, it's called DW. I've seen some reviews here by people who don't like the DW because its sidewalls are soft so there's not enough steering feel, and a few people said their cars were wandering around and felt unsafe.
edit: Here are some posts I remembered about the Conti DW: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...3#post11773163 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...2#post10925822 Last edited by GaryS; 04-23-2012 at 09:06 AM.. |
