Favourite 1 Series Coupe Pictures (AKA 'Goose Bump Gallery')
Post your favourite picture here. Appreciate this is a repost of a picture (thanks to chriskurn), but I thought it would be good to gather some of the best pictures together.
Which pictures "did it" for you?!!! |

Either of these will do for me ...

Advevo Pic from the Ring.
This isn't my favorite (I love Chriskurn's photoshops and the WindingRoad pics of the Euro press debut at BMW Welt in Munich) but this is one of the earliest photos taken of a 1-er mule with very little camo at BMW's facility at Nurburgring in April 2007 by a friend of Advevo who then published it on GCZ and I lifted it (with permission) for 1addicts.
It's a Montego blue 135 and we finally got a look at the entire car without the use of a zoom lens or someone standing in front of it. So it's just that- a candid everyday kind of shot without all the attitude of spy-pics. |

Brookside,
In your image, the proportions, particularly at a distance, are not unattractive at all being that the camera is not so close so as to distort perspective. No fish-eye there. Montego blue really doesn't look too bad.

hands down my favorite pic of the 1er. like brooks, was one of the first without camo but it is still my favorite just because it shows what it is from a great angle. no bells, no whistles, all attitude.

aesthetect- the photo you published is from mid-June-
I have a gigundo stash of 1-er pics on my computer and date them as I put them into photo files. You're right....it was among the first, if not the first totally undisguised pic. This is my real favorite- I've posted it waaaaay too much, but, meh... This is from the Euro-press debut in late August at (an unfinished) BMW Welt. Winding Road published 8 photos and a blurb about what camera was used, aperature setting... check out the expresson of the guy with the beard. |
