Musicar Certified Level 2 in E88

We recently installed a Level Two Plus audio upgrade package - with rear-speaker delete - into an E88 vert with 676 HiFi. (This car lacked rear PDC and so we didn't have a compelling reason to retain rear speakers).

We took the preamp signal into a JL Audio TwK88 DSP tuning preamp tuned for our standard driver-seat-optimized tune:



That signal went into a JL Audio 4-channel amp, powering the front mid/tweeters and the underseat woofers. It was prepped for our bolt-in, plug-in installation:





This amp did 70x2 to the fronts and 100x2 for the 2-ohm underseat woofers. Since this was a vert, we didn't go with a trunk sub, instead we asked for more from the underseats.



The front door mid/tweeters are the Morel V4 mid, MT120 28mm silk tweeter, and matching 2-way crossover module:











Wide stereo stage, clear and stable center image, seamless midbass-to-midrange transition - client loved it. All 100% reversible.
