Thanks to all for the replies. Would there be anything else I should consider to go along with the fm, dp and Cobb access port?

Depends.
If you have local, easy access to e85 then you'll be good to go for making some awesome numbers using the access tuner software. If not, you may want to give meth injection a strong consideration.

Here's a dyno of my car running intake, down pipes, 5" intercooler and meth running a map I made.

Ok so with an ams intercooler, ar downpipes and a Cobb access port what should I expect power wise and can I expect to keep factory drivability? Is there anything else I ought to do along with those mods? Blow off valve?
Got rid of it, couldn't do it for a daily driver (I drive a lot for my work) and was always worried when I would need to get a Vortech rebuild, etc.

You can get a BOV if you want....I have one and like it. The TIAL isn't as loud as the HKS so it's tolerable and not obnoxiously loud IMO.

Power varies, you can be at about 360+whp or more with those mods. Shouldn't have any problem with driveability, I haven't so far with the mods I have.

any of the piggyback devices should work on an auto tuning map. or a pro tuner shop could make a custom map for you with Cobb.

Thanks Venom.

I installed n55 mids and a cp-e axleback on my car and when driving on the highway at a constant speed (usually around 2,500rpms) my exhaust notes change from no real drone to loud drone, on and off. Give it a little more gas and the loud drone goes back to the no real drone tone. Took it to a shop to look for exhaust leaks, none. Is it because I'm not tuned my ECU doesn't know how much A/F is needed with my modifications and quirks out?

That's completely normal. It's just the WGs doing their job. You'll hear that tuned or not. Of coarse, a tune brings these cars alive and there's no reason to NOT tune.

I noticed this after doing my exhaust and found it will do that 1800-2500 RPM's. I logged it for a few minute one day and found out it gets loud in normal fuel mode and quiet when it goes to spool mode. I just tend to stay in a gear that stays just above 2500 now.

I noticed that today for the first time too. DPs definitely make it louder.

That's what I typically do; on the highway I usually travel in 5th gear at 3k. Doesn't seem to do it then....I find it to be a little annoying but whatever...maybe I'll just dynamat the trunk a little to tone down the noise when it actually does it

Not yet. Last thing I remember Terry@BMS saying was that if customers began requesting it in large numbers he would work on implementing it.

Shiv hasn't mentioned it(AFAIK) since he said a long time ago that he was going to implement it, but of coarse he was going to do it better than anyone else lol

Had a question about JB4. Ordered mine and was wondering about E85. Was planning on running 93 octane on Map 5; but wanted to give the E85 a try (maybe like 2-3 gallons of it, rest 93 octane) nothing serious just a little E85 mixed in. Was wondering if I ran this mixture (on Map 7, right?) and wanted to change back to just 93 octane after I ran the E85 mixture and went back to Map 5 would it be safe? Seeing as how some E85 might be left in the tank when next fill up....was just wondering if it would be safe to just go back to Map 5 that quickly

And I don't need anything else to run E85 besides the tune correct? New to DI engines, the Honda needed all kinds of crap to even try to run E85.

What kind of mods would you need to pull 450 whp without running meth? And how much would it cost?

New to the forum but been a car guy for quite some time. Picked up an '08 135i a couple months ago and just popped a CEL.

P054B - Coldstart Camshaft B position timing over-retarded.

A quick search didn't come up with any hits. Used Torque App to scan the code. Not much info.

Anyone have any other information on possible cause/fix?

A search on NAM Mini forum shows:

P054B - VANOS, exhaust-side, cold start: No closed-loop control possible

But that is just a partial list.

Car is out of warranty but had all the recalls done and I had the history checked at a BMW dealership and it had no history issues.
