Akra w/ DP's - vibration
Hey guys,
Need some input from anybody running Akra w/ catless dp’s. Do you have any rattle / vibration in your cabin? I was getting a few squeaks from the passenger side and rear, and now my driver's side a/c vent is rattling. I'm trying to figure out if the a/c vent rattle is due to the akra? I love the exhaust but the vibration/rattle is annoying so any suggestions on how to get rid of it would be appreciated. *my exhaust is not hitting the diffuser Last edited by css008; 04-08-2014 at 11:20 PM.. |

When I went full cattless and Berk mids/ exhaust the car rattled like a son-of-a-gun….switched to AR-catted DPs, and changed exhaust…got much better.
You could have a loose DPs, if the bands are not tighten properly off the turbo then you could get a rattle. GL

If you are feeling the natural resonance from the system there is very little you can do(add weights to change its frequency is often what OEM manufacturers would do) other than replacing it.
Is the exhaust clear of everything under the vehicle? I would also double check all nuts and bolts. |
