Anyone track their 135is - limp mode?

Interested to know whether the factory PPK2 on the N55 with its additional radiator has eliminated any limp mode at the track.

In for info as I plan to occasionally track as well. Looking to do _minimal_ modding, if any at all, in order to make this happen.

I track a regular n55 without the additional radiator and never have experienced limp mode. I'd think with your additional cooling you should have no issues. If anything just run with the heater on and you'll keep the temps down. Running with the heat on I never got above 250-260.

Wow. I'm at 240-250 on the street.

Running Watkins Glen for the past two days.
Two limp mode instances with stock n54 engine. Definitely needs better cooling. Not sure to go with a bigger radiator fan or oil cooler. Temps are ranging around 270. Clearly there's an issue. Even in 45 50 degree temps.

Perhaps a better cooling radiator AND oil cooler is needed.

I found this old thread...
