FS: Style 159 wheels and tire set - fresh from delivery
I am scheduled to pick up my new BMW 325XiT Sport Package next Friday June 2. It is coming with BMW original E90 Star Spoke style 159 light-alloy wheels, 225/45R-17 run-flat all-season tires (Bridgestone Turanza EL42 based on the info in this forum) that I want to sell. My plan is to replace them same day I get my car with another set of wheels and tires that I already have. So, expected mileage is what the car had originally (in my prior experience with this dealership under 10 miles) than drive straight to the tire place and replace them. In other words you get a new OEM BMW ZSP 17" wheels and tires set. I did a quick search and the best price (obviously not from a BMW dealer) for this set is over $2100 (if you can find it cheaper please let me know were). I think that price of $1600 plus actual shipping cost is a very reasonable offer (shipping is buyer responsibility or local pick up in NYC Sub is welcome). Another option that I am wiling to consider if you want to upgrade from your 16” E90 set (style 156). The reason for this sale is actually very simple. My family and I enjoy skiing and we go to Canada every year so I need a winter set. I am also planning a few upgrades (Huper optic, alarm, clear bra) right away and have to choose what is more important. Please PM me with your offer. PS I am NOT looking to start a bidding war and I am not after every penny I can get. I think it is a reasonable offer and if we have a deal it is yours. |

I am well aware of that condition... These sales have not been one-offs... Most of the sales have been going for less than what you are asking for a 'lesser' wheel. By the way... it doesnt matter if you dont drive a mile on them. They are still used. Just like your car, they depreciate... |

I could only find one match for lower price for 159 set with many miles/scrathes on them -- that is a "one-off" that I could find. But in any case I do not want to start an argument who is better at doing search. Unless you are in a market for new wheels and tires yourself this sale won't affect you so, please no more trying to lower a price here. When I sell my set I'll post in this thread if the price I got was lower or not. |

Would you consider my set of 156s & RFTs, perfect condition (recently waxed) with 3k miles on them plus $500 then for your 159 set??

I am picking up my car tomorrow!!! Finally! A lot of people tell me the waiting for a car is the best part of the buying experiance. I am soory and you'll have to forgive me if I don't see it. I am so happy the waiting is almost over. Anyway, the 159 set is still available and based on your responses most of you feel that $1600 is slightly higher price than what you want to pay. So, what would you say to $1500 plus shipping or local pick up? Or make an offer.

Honestly... There are 161's which are a staggered setup with beefier high performance tires that are going for 8-900 regularly here on the post. I dont mean to rain on your parade, but I dont think anyone will purchase them at that price. |

PS Not to mention I prefer 159's anyway for a number of reasons: looks, I want to be able to rotate my tires and etc. |

Im referring to ones that are brand new just like yours. Your preference does not mean that it is more marketable. Is this your first time selling wheels??? |
