I changed all the amber globes a while back. Front, sides and rears all moved to 'silver visions'. Quick easy upgrade, well worth it

Front and rear indicators - PY21W 12V 21W - Philips silver vision indicator globes

Side indicators - Osram T10 W5W Amber chrome

Totally agree. I have "blacked out" side marker so can't see what globe is in there. I can't hardly tell if my rear oem lights look amber, might be the LCI version hiding them well. The front ones were definitely an eye-sore and gotta be replaced.

Ian, it's not hard. You access the signal indicator light from inside the wheel arch lining. Turn the wheel all the way to right to get to the right light and opposite for the left. The plastic cover is removed by turning the 2 plastic knobs.

The light itself is in a holder which comes out by just twisting it. There is no wire connection to it.

If that doesn't make sense, it's all in the user manual.

Wheel repair

After 10 months of curb rash-free driving, I had an unfortunate encounter with the curb! Having a bit of OCD, so my wife tells me I do I had to get it fixed and I chose The Wheel Man. Heath did an excellent job restoring the wheel.

Here are some photos of the repair.

Is there a way to rename the original thread title? Perhaps I should have titled "My 1M codename "Snow" is here".

Can any moderator please amend it for me? I can't figure how to.

Thanks for rubbing it in John!
That's what happened with a moment of lack of concentration in a carpark ramp!

Absolutely, I was a bit skeptical about mobile wheel repairers as we all heard of horrible stories but I couldn't be any happier with the result. To see every step of the repair procedure I have no hesitation recommending The Wheel Man. Ask for Heath to do the repair, he mainly do all the prestige cars.

Dyno day

The car did a dyno run today.

Previous run with stock tune and N55 mid, 254.7kW and today with Cobb FMIC and Cobb OTS tune (stage 1 +FMIC), 280.4kW. Car now done just over 9000kms.

It was a nice day catching up with everyone and the Advan's team.

Very tempting Ian.

Honestly I didn't expect that number. With just a stage 1 OTS tune, I was thinking around 265kW. 280kW was certainly a pleasant surprise and does confirm how lively the car is when I want to play.
