Id say about 20 minutes a wheel. Super easy just a few nuts and bolts.

Even though others have already said it, this thread is about as enjoyable a thread as I have followed in years. Let's hope it can stay pure.

Thanks everyone for your input. Oh, and you know I am making my list and Dan's Name is right at the top:wink:

Rotors look great! I'd guess that you probably won't notice much of a difference in braking unless you are really working them hard for an extended period. Them they may have less fade. Track time will probably show a noticeable difference.
They do look sick, but just so people know: Cross drilled/slotted rotors are NOT really a performance mod. On a modern braking system, they can actually hurt performance a bit (not enough for 99% of people to notice).

If you want good brakes for the track, you will want new brake fluid and pads.

Less rotor weight is just going to mean less mass to absorb the heat.

The 12lbs of rotating mass eliminated probably won't make much difference on such a powerful car. Lightweight rims could make a much bigger difference on that front.

I don't think the weight savings are in the rotor. I am pretty sure its in the aluminum hat.

There are 20 more rotors coming from BMW AG within the next few days. If anyone wants a set (front only), feel free to shoot me a PM! Or check it out here.

Also, here is the answer for the rear rotors as of right now:

Sevas look good, but I have read bad stuff about them lately.

Never seen wheels break like this. It is crazy.

The Sevas S10 model. Although one wheel model, it doesn't help their image.

They were actually placed on the NHSTA Defect Investigation Report (bottom of page 3)

The slots will cause the pads to wear faster than non-slotted rotors. I know that from personal experience. I had a car that came with slotted rotors from the factory but the slots did not extend across the full width of the pads. The outer part of the pads that didn't have a slot sweeping across them did not wear as fast as the rest of the pad and actually dug a groove in the rotors. I know you asked about the holes but I have no personal experience with them.
