In PA, took it out was very good, had to turn DTC on couple of times, but not bad. Handles better then a Dodge Dakota SLT 2wd with no sand bags in the back.

We got a good amount of snow...again. I parked the 1 on Tuesday, got a ride to work and used the g/f's car yesterday and today. I like the fact that the car is nice and clean sitting in the garage.

On another note, is it me or do people drive like f@ckin @ssholes when it's bad out? It always seems like I'm the only one slowing down and driving cautiously.

Not really mate. I drive slow when the road is bad. Its especially those pick-up trucks. Once the road is in good condition, they will get own by us.

Party I was going to got canceled, as did my neighbor's plans. We're just going to share some champagne and snacks and stay local.
First, glad you made it through unharmed...but to be honest, I'm surprised the 1er made it through 6" snow. With only ~4" of clearance I thought that'd be our threshold.

I installed the snows, and I fear I've wasted my money in NOVA and I'll never get to see snow (damn I miss it). I think I'll be taking her to WV skiing next month, either 1er or my wife's Jetta. After seeing Bman's video I have no doubts about the Dunlop capability, but am I being foolish to put her through the wear and tear when the leased Jetta is an option?

I'm lowered too, so less than 4" clearance. The FMIC opening, and the brake ducts were solid pack. lol
