VERY sweet! What tires did you end up going with? How do you like the tires?

Not feeling the black wheels.... never did though just a personal thing?
Anyway what type of tires are on the 19's for under 2 grand? The rims are listed at $339 each X 4 = $1356 4 tires = less than $650? Pretty low cost.... |

I didn't find 19" runflats at tirerack. Are these regular tires? Are you carrying a spare?

I am carrying a spare for long trips (E46 M3's don't have spares) ... the BMW center can order 19" run flat tires but they are 255/35 R19 in the rear and 225/40 R19 in the front.
I will take some digital pictures in next week and give you all an update! Execution.

i just realized id be f-u-c-k-e-d if i got 20 hartge classic 2's.... NO SPARE and def no 20 inch runflats... (correct me if im wrong)
RB btw it says that the black are only available in 18"... IMO black rims with a chrome lip need to be bigger because the chrome lip makes them look smaller

Hey guys, hate to drag up an old post but I'm just real excited about ordering these wheels!!! Tirerack was great Ordered them yesterday and they'll be in Monday. What a steal, and like was posted they threw in BMW factory center caps at no charge. They are real short on supply, so if you want them I would get them now. I was considering the CSL replicas, but these just look so awesome. I like the deep lip look.

No problem at all. This is one of my favorite threads! Now how in the hell can you say you have no drop?!?! I have seen other cars here with sport and aftermarket wheels and they do not look as low as your car. Think the 235 front looks like it has less gap than 225 front? What gives? ...again beautiful car. |

I think it's because the fronts are actually about .4" larger, and rears are about .2" taller. If you use the configurator in the wheels section. Not enough to throw the speedo off, but fills in a little more gap. People have already asked if my car is dropped with the stock wheels (sport package). I dunno, but I can't wait to mount them up!! They'll be in on Tuesday.

Those are great and strong rims. I have them on my E46 330Ci (18 inch staggered set) since December 2003, and still look awesome.
Yours are even better in 19 inch on an E90! I wonder why the stock BMW center caps do not fit the 19 inch ASAs. When I installed mine on the E46, I used the OEM center caps on the new rims without any troubles. Perfect fit. Is the E90 center cap different from the E46? Or is it the 19 inch ASA different from the 18 incher? Please do not forget to post new pics. I would love to see one of your car from the back, in order to check how wide and cambered they look on an E90. I am still undecided on what wheels I´ll be using on my next E92 330Ci (or maybe 335Ci). I do not even know if I´ll be going for the "show stopper" 19s or the good ´ole 18s. My current candidates are : 19 inch ASA AR1 19 inch E46 M3 (either normal or CSL version) 19 inch BBS CH 18 inch BBS CH (Tirerack lists a rear fitment of 18x10, but only with 245/35 tires. Why not 255/35? Anyone knows?) Execution : can you please tell us how does the E90 ride on the new 19 incher, compared to your OEM 17 inch set. What tire pressure are you using? |
