Loose change noises

I bought my 135i used a few days ago; an '09. Once it was mine I began to explore its handling. Soon after that, a rattle started. After a while I decided it was metal on hard plastic. So, I looked for where coins could get onto hard plastic.....

Under the front seats are the vent tubes for the rear seating area. The ends of the tubes are open. Hmmmmmm..... Time for a rapid, uphill acceleration. Sure enough, I managed (in a few sessions) to get out two quarters and a penny.

I can't be the first one with this situation. Should there have been some sort of screen over the end of the tubes? Anyone fit screens?

Sounds like the car is already paying dividends. Good purchase!
